Academy Awards Mommies

The 2011 Academy Awards was a success for the mommies. I get a girlish thrill when I see Hollywood mommies doing their thing on the red carpet.

To start with, the Queen Bee of the 2011 Oscar red carpet, Camila Alves in Kaufman Franco. She looked HAWT enough to make Oscar blush. Her dress, hair, makeup, jewels…all flawless. And the KEWLest thing is that her dress has pockets. ♥Looooove♥ That is such a mommy thing. I can’t wear anything without pockets.

Next up is my favorite red carpet mommy, Halle Berry. I didn’t agree with her Golden Globes dress choice, but she was bangin as usual in this nude  Marchesa.

Jennifer Hudson showcased her new post baby/Weight Watcher’s body in a stunning tangerine Versace. This dress looked red at 1st. Guess I should have been watching on HD. No worries, it was still apparent that she owned her look.

Sandra Bullock was a stunner in her strapless Vera Wang. She’s a new mommy and recently went through a divorce. I’m always happy to see her classic red carpet looks.

Mother of 3 including twins (delivered just 4 months ago!!! Wowzers), Celine Dion was beautiful in classic Armani.

And 2 thumbs up to 14 year old, Hailee Steinfeld. Her tea length Marchesa gown and light makeup was so age appropriate. The True Grit star looked perfect.

Now for the mommies that need a little guidance:

Pregnant mommy Natalie Portman chose a great color in her Rodarte dress, but the earrings are awful and the dress falls flat for me. Too mature and kinda dated. She would have been better off at A Pea In the Pod.

Reese Witherspoon got the dress right with a beautiful Armani, but OMG, am I the only one who noticed the QVC hairpiece???

Gwenth Paltrow‘s hair and makeup were on point, but the Calvin Klein dress was boring and kinda weird.
