Mo Meets The Dallas Cowboys

I felt really bad for Mo when he tore some ligaments in his ankle.

Despite the cast, he was super positive and understanding when I canceled the rest of Summer Camp, Soccer Camp, and our Summer Vacay.

Being such a good sport he said, “It’s ok. I just wanna get better so I can play soccer and football again.”

I really wanted Mo to experience something special and keep his mind off being in a cast for the 2nd half of Summer.

Enter Dallas Cowboys Training Camp.

Being a devout Brett Favre fan, I have never favored the Cowboys.

Howeverrrr, when Dallas used their #1 draft pick to get LSU DB standout, Morris Claiborne, things changed (sorry Brett, still luv ya!).

My Money Mo loves Mo Money and LSU. 🙂

The Cowboys practice about 45 miles North of us, so we headed up there and made a fun weekend of it.

We stayed on the beach, took B, jumped on the beds in the hotel room, knocked on strangers’ doors and ran…we had a blast.

Of course the highlight was Mo and his buddies hanging out at the Training Camp.

Mo even went back a 2nd time and got to meet all the guys up close.

The icing on the cake was Mo made the Dallas Morning News with his fave player signing his shirt:

As an athlete, one of the lessons I wanted Mo to gain from this, was to always remember what it feels like to admire and look up to someone and that feeling when you are acknowledged. Ya never know, Mo could be the one holding the Sharpie in 15 years or so.

Enjoy the pics. Special thanks to all the Dallas Cowboys for giving my son an experience of a lifetime.

Oh, and I hope Claiborne represents LSU and shuts down EREBODY in the NFL. #DBU
